JAMES COCKERILL

Thanks for visiting my site.  My name is Jim Cockerill, but many of my friends call me “Griz.”  Feel free to do so, because by the end of the loan process, I will consider you a friend.  I’ve spent the past 33 years of my career listening to my clients and helping them find the right product to suit their needs. Since entering the mortgage field in 2000, I’ve truly appreciated the relationships that I have developed with my clients and customers.

What you will find out about me is that I will work hard on your behalf.  I was raised on farm with 10 older siblings, so I was taught the value of hard work early, and today I use those skills to guide the team of people who will be working on your loan to do the work necessary to ensure a smooth experience.  Personally, I’ve been fortunate to be married to my best friend for 30 years.  Together, we have two children who we are very proud of and they have blessed us with five grandchildren.

I look forward to learning more about you, your goals and needs.  Then, you can count on me to provide expert solutions specific to you and ensure that the process is managed well from beginning to end.  Call, e-mail or apply now so we can get started on your journey.

Jim is, hands down, my favorite mortgage loan officer (and I have worked with MANY loan officers over the past 20 years)! Because of his professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, integrity, honesty, and customer-service mentality, Jim is the only lender that I recommend to my clients.
Paula S.
Partners United Financial made my home buying easy, especially Jim. He answered every question and concerns in lay terms that I understood. He was willing to come over to collect all the documents that were needed when I was not available. He went out of his way to collect documents from my bank on my behalf when my bank kept going back and forth with me. As a result, I was able to close on schedule with no issues at all.
